Mermaiden of gold

Like a rose in full bloom never to die,
Like a dew upon the morning grass,
Like a small twinkling start in the huge dark sky,
The immortal gal crossed my path..

So very kind was fate to me,
To bless this girl I longed to meet,
Young, simple,sweet was she,
A slave of love i was indeed.

As rivers flows and plants starts to grow
My love for her starts to grow,
Love as a seed that i have sown as time went by,
The nector of her love, my labour must reap.

But alas! very much to my dismay,
My heart in pain and tormet lay,
Formly love uncrequited to this very day,
To path of sorrow I was led away.

No words of mine could possibly express
How afflicated I was in torerable pain
She has hated me..the ate was cast,
Oh fickle fortune,my heart cried long in vain.

Loud was my cry over this unattainable treasure,
Which was taken by the wave of the sea of love,
To clamour a beauty so near and yet so far,
I would rather die than live to see,
My love abated, it would never be.

Alas the day I ever was born
To live in this world so full of scorn
But the girl I used to love brimful with desire
The beautiful girl, my mermaiden of gold.
